Merry Christmas from the Troolins!
| Dear Friends and Family, Merry Christmas! One thing I love about Christmas are all the reminders, through the carols, Christmas tree, nativity scenes, and the star, of the miracle of incarnation! I realize again, with chills up my spine, what Jesus did, in coming to earth as a little, weak, defenseless baby! What amazing news, as it goes in the Sam language (Luke 2:10-11): Nedine sombun sis munjurulxo, "Nyingga ula aiyaxjal. Sa inggo paribeli xiliyai ngga sam beli pes yogolxam. Nal nenxa Devid ido taunbe xanggli be adu du palxo. Xelag nedana nyingga kumogxo gagrenggedxo. Adu Krais. Adu suma Xotei ana sumaxangglixjax gagrenjis so belib tadanjax so aiyixo." English translation (NIV): But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Life goes on, doesn't it? The world turns, babies are born, but in the middle of life, Jesus came, to usher in a new covenant! Hallelujah! Ahh, that is great, great news!
