Troolin email update, 16 Sep. 2016
Dear Friends and Family,
Today is Independence Day in PNG! Woohoo!!! :)
We also have a couple of encouraging things to share with you from these last few weeks:
* Dave was interviewed by Life FM, a Christian radio station here in Adelaide and was excited to share about what God is doing through Wycliffe Bible Translators. Please pray that as a result there will be some who will understand more about about Wycliffe's work and for God to use that interview to further His work.
* The day for Dave to present an overview of his thesis arrived. This involved trying to figure out the most complicated part of his thesis so that he could present it - that chapters he hasn't written yet! But he sketched out some ideas, received some very helpful feedback from the professors and students who attended and now he has a better idea of how to finish the thesis! Praise the Lord! After all the months of thinking and reading, he feels encouraged and excited to be moving into the final two chapters!
Please continue to pray as we testify to God's mercy and love in this part of the world, and for the translators and literacy teachers back in the Sam villages!
